Professor Eric Findlay BSc LLB C Eng MICE MIMechE C.WEM MWISA

Global RBC expert Eric Findlay has recently formed his own company to provide professional consultancy services. Eric was Severn Trent Water's principal engineer responsible for the development of their RBC programme. He also had responsibilty for delivering a major part of Severn Trent Water Ltd's Million Euro Budget of which RBCs was a relatively small albeit important part . More recently he was the RBC Manager at Copa Ltd.

RBC Rotating Biological Contactors
A Rotating Biological Contactor (RBC) is a process used to remove soluble, biodegradable, organic materials from sewage thereby achieving a high quality effluent.

 

About Eric 
 

Eric was appointed a visiting professor of Cranfield University in June 2000 and has lectured at a number of universities both at home and abroad. A graduate in Civil Engineering from Manchester University, he has authored a variety of technical papers some on RBCs and reed bed technology which have been delivered at a number of major international conferences. He has extensive experience in the Water Industry. More info ...
